Site Identification & Evaluation
Siting is critical. We work with landowners to evaluate site viability through rigorous due diligence—assessing access to three-phase power, wetlands, and terrain.
Permitting
We coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to secure all required permits—leveraging strong relationships with municipalities and regulators to ensure compliance.
Utility Coordination
Every project requires a utility interconnection agreement. We work directly with the utility from feasibility through cost estimates to final approvals, ensuring full buy-in for construction.
Revenue Sourcing
We identify and secure the revenue streams that make energy projects financially viable, including power purchase agreements, renewable energy credits (RECs), incentive programs, and wholesale market opportunities
EPC & Owners Engineering Services
We serve as an independent advisor, safeguarding the client’s interests by reviewing designs, managing contractors, overseeing construction, and verifying performance.

Bold Coast manages the full sale process of renewable energy projects—from documentation and financial models to due diligence, buyer engagement, and negotiations—ensuring transparent, efficient transactions that maximize value.

Over the past decade, Bold Coast has played a leading role in sourcing, developing, financing, constructing, and selling distributed generation projects across the Northeast. Our portfolio includes projects ranging from 5 MW wind installations to solar facilities exceeding 15 MW. Today, Bold Coast is actively advancing more than 20 MW of fuel cell and solar projects currently under development in New England.

3.25 MW Solar Energy Project (Completed) – Maine
Bold Coast Energy partnered with a local landowner to develop the best strategy for monetizing rugged, rocky terrain previously considered unusable. The result was the successful deployment of 4,200,000 kWh of clean energy in 2023.
Over a 24-month period, Bold Coast Energy led the initiative by:
• Negotiating and securing land agreements
• Managing project development and permitting
• Coordinating the utility interconnection process
• Overseeing the full construction and commissioning of the facility
• Managing the project sale process
This project highlights our ability to transform challenging, underutilized land into a high-performing renewable energy asset—delivering long-term value to both the community and the environment.
3 MW Solar Energy Project (Completed) – Maine
Bold Coast Energy partnered with a local business and landowner to identify the best use for otherwise unusable land surrounding an existing farm and industrial site. The result was the successful deployment of 4,000,000 kWh of clean energy in 2023.
Over a 30-month period, Bold Coast Energy led the initiative by:
• Negotiating and securing land agreements
• Managing project development and permitting
• Coordinating the utility interconnection process
• Overseeing the full construction and commissioning of the facility
• Managing the project sale process
This project demonstrates our ability to transform underutilized land into productive renewable energy assets, delivering long-term value to both the community and the environment.
1 MW Fuel Cell Deployment (In Process) – Maine
Bold Coast Energy partnered with one of their Energy Procurement customers to maximize their industrial site’s revenue potential with a 1mw fuel cell technology deployment. This technology uses pipeline natural gas and proprietary fuel cell technology from a US based manufacturing to chemically convert the natural gas into electricity, reducing carbon emissions by more than 30% when compared to a combine cycle natural gas facility.
Since early 2023, Bold Coast Energy continues to lead the initiative by:
• Utility interconnection process
• Negotiating and securing land agreements
• Managing project development
This clean energy technology will generate an estimated 10,000,000 kWh’s of electricity annually for the local grid.
